Heidi, Max and Moritz or Hansel and Gretel - the slides of the Slide Trail at the mid-station of the Wildkogelbahn are named something like this. The Slide Trail is a welcome change on your holiday and makes hiking great fun for young and old children.
From the valley station, you reach the mid-station of the Wildkogelbahn at an altitude of 1,644m after a walking time of around 1 hour on the beautiful panoramic trail with countless dreamlike viewpoints. Here, there is a one-of-a-kind experience waiting for you. All the way until the Gasthof Stockenbaum, you'll encounter ten stainless steel slides with lengths ranging from 22 to 53 metres. On slide mats, you can enjoy sliding through tubes, hollows and over ripples. The slide with free fall effect elicits so many cries of Woohoo!
Use is free of charge with a valid ticket for the cable cars, the slide trail is open during the hours of operation of the Wildkogelbahn.
